The Besom in Cambridge started operations in late 2006.

There are lots of ways that members and groups from Cambridge churches can get involved in projects, giving time or money to make a real, long-term difference to those in need.

Giving Time as a Group

The Besom provides a wide variety of opportunities for people to reach out into the community and help others in practical ways. Members of several Cambridge churches participate regularly in projects such as garden clearance and decorating.

Giving Time as an Individual

If you are able to give time as an individual, there are lots of ways of doing so effectively. Please contact us and we will find where you time can best be spent.

Giving Things

We do regular van collections from those who would like to give good quality household items. Let us know what you have and we may be able to deal with it.

Giving Money

If you are unable to give time or things you may be able to give money. Any amount, large or small will be well used. For example, some givers could direct funds be used to buy paint and other supplies for decorating projects.

Prayer

If you would like to join our list of prayer supporters, please let us know.

How you can be involved:

If you or your small/community group would like to get involved in a project,
if you would like to give new or nearly new things,
if you would like us to help find a project to fund, or make a donation to Besom.
