Giving Skills
All Besoms help givers who have special skills put their talents to work for people who need them. If you have skills in
- carpentry
- painting
- DIY
- cooking
- literacy
- teaching
or if you have any other special skill that you would like to apply, your local Besom can match you with a nearby project that needs your help.
See the Local Besoms page to give time in geographical regions.
"As a carpenter I wanted to give my skills to people in need near where I
lived. Besom helped me to do this and I was able to build and fit cupboards
and shelves for several single mums in my local area."
Skills Giver, London HQ
"My first Besom project… experience was amazing. I did it with my small group and working together has made us much closer. We did some decorating for a local family…[and] they could not believe that we were willing to give up a Saturday to help them, and without being paid!"
