About Us
The Besom in Cambridge is here to help christians and churches to give their time, money and items to those in need in Cambridge. There are three ways you can give your time at the Besom in Cambridge. We pray that through each of these ways, those who volunteer will learn more about God's heart for those in need and that their faith will grow as they see Him at work. See below for more details. Giving time
You can help with our weekly operations by joining our van team, helping with admin, coordinating projects, assessments and praying. We are based at a small warehouse in Barnwell.
Are you a member of a local church? Does your group want to bless someone who really needs some help with decorating, gardening or practical tasks in their home? Just let us know when your group would like to give time - it all starts with a date from you.
Giving items
If you have a good quality items of furniture, white goods, bedding, toiletries or kitchen items, we would love to help you give them to a family or individual who needs them. Please get in touch to find out more.
Giving money
We can help you give your money in whatever way you feel called to. For example if you would like your money to bless a single parent family, a refugee, someone who has experienced homelessness or even someone who lives in a particular area - we can make sure it is spent in the way you want it to be. You can give money here.
